Auntie Em's Volleyball Game

We were able to make it to one of Evan's youngest sister's volleyball games this fall.  Emily had a game at our high school, which was nice for us to be back at and a much closer, quicker drive, if only all her games could be there!  The kids had a great time, and Denver would have loved to run in the lobby with "his friends" the entire time!  It was a great game to be at as Emily played very well, which was a lot of fun for us to watch.  Emily's team won!

They are a must for bedtime and some thing she likes close to her side at most times.

Of course Emily looked great in all the pictures I snapped, but Makenna did not!  This was the best one!

Chocolate Pudding Anyone?

Makenna LOVES sweets, especially chocolate.  Here's her enjoying some chocolate pudding.  Notice the bib has been ripped off and now her shirt is full of it too! :)

Makenna's First Haircut!

October 13, Makenna got her first haircut.  There wasn't a ton that came off, but I could really tell a difference.  My baby girl has beautiful curls in the back of her head, but they seemed to frizz out when ever she slept, so we thought maybe a little trim would help with that and get it all evened out!  Her curls still frizz out when she sleeps, but once they get a little water to them they curl right back up!  I keep asking if the curls are going to stay, but no one will tell me, but I guess its hard to know so we'll just have to wait and see.

Kristie, who also does my hair did Makenna's 1st cut and of course she did a great job with her and her hair!

Too much going on I guess as I didn't get a good mirror shot or an "after" shot, but I promise lots of pictures to come since her haircut! :)

Fun in the leaves with their GG's!

To explain my title a little more, when Denver was born Grandma Lu didn't know that she wanted to be called Great Grandma, so they decided they would be GG Lu and GG Lloyd, hence the title.  One morning/afternoon when we were out running errands we stopped to see the GG's and the kids ended up having great fun playing in the leaves.  Since we live in a newer development they aren't used to all the leaves.  Here are some pictures from their time playing together.

Later that day after naps the kids watched a movie in Kenna's room and had a snack.

 Kenna's gotten really into her sunglasses...no matter if they are on right or not!

Mindy's 27th Birthday

Just wanted to post a couple pictures from my actual birthday.  Its not very often that there is a picture of my kids AND ME!  I also wanted to document how nice of a fall we have had, which you can tell by Makenna's outfit!
