Here are a couple of pictures of our precious baby boy.
This picture was taken back in the operating room after my c-section. Denver came out screaming and then after about a minute stopped and just stared at his Daddy. Daddy loved every minute of it.
Here we are up in our room, the morning after he was born.Now we are home and doing well. Our first night was a little interesting as the little guy didn't want to sleep. I think it's because Daddy didn't quite have the thermastat set correctly, it was kind of cold. Mommy caved on her rule the first night and let Denver sleep on her chest for 2 hours so we all could get a little sleep. Well, I need to keep moving, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. We are so happy to have our happy, healthy baby boy at home (and for Thanksgiving might I add...God is good!).

Oh, he is so cute! I love his hair! Your labor sounds about like my first one. You'll have to email me and tell me all about it when you feel up to it. Don't worry about letting him sleep on your chest a little bit. Gaby slept on my chest for a couple of weeks when she first came home and now she is my best sleeper. You gotta do what you gotta do to get some sleep when they are tiny. Otherwise you lose your sanity. It will be hard for the first couple of months (unless your really lucky) but if you and Evan can help each other, it makes it a little easier. Give him a kiss for me and Ashlyn (she's sitting on my lap looking at his photo).
