Makenna Betty Kindt at 2 Years Old

Due to our crazy lives and some good procrastination I now I have to sit down and think back almost 6 months to what our beautiful, growing girl was doing at 2 years.  Makenna had quite the vocabulary for a 2 year old and loved to talk and babble about anything and every thing in the back of the van or pickup.  Words that described Kenna at the young age of 2 are talkative, energetic, clumsy, loving, caring,  helpful (especially loves to do things for her brother), and drama (we'll leave out the "queen" part, but its definitely coming!).

Makenna is a little mommy at heart and loves to play with her babies, put them to sleep, rock them, feed them, etc.  She has also just started taking an interest in princesses, especially princess Cinderella.  Kenna also still enjoys playing with her brother whether it be hunting, farming, Cars, kitty (they pretend to be kittens), or what ever else they dream up.  Makenna loves to play outside and be on the go.  She often asks to go "bye, bye" and loves to shop.  Which also reminds me how much Kenna loves to pick out her clothes for the day, change clothes throughout the day, and has quite the opinion on what goes together and what does not!

Kenna was about 34.5 inches tall (JUST below the 75%),and around 26 lbs (50%).  She still has her beautiful curls, has had one hair cut, and her hair is just below her shoulders (when wet, before the curls pull it up).
If I remember correctly I think she was putting 3 to 4 word sentences together.  She was working on counting and for sure counted to 3 if not higher.  Starting to memorize things, especially songs (she LOVES to sing), but also her bed time prayers.  She also knew some of her colors.  Prior to Kenna's 2nd birthday she was potty trained, unfortunately she decided it wasn't all it was cracked up to be and regressed, but still uses the potty on her terms!

Makenna's 2 year pictures, thanks to Kathryn Grandbois Photography!  She can be a very difficult subject, especially when her daddy isn't around, but I absolutely LOVE them and will treasure these pictures forever!
