SnOw!

Both the kids, but especially Denver were excited to wake up and see snow.  Denver was out playing and shoveling in the snow at least 3 times today if not 4 or 5.  I felt like all I did all day was dress and undress kids from snow gear.  Kenna was slightly scared to walk in the snow; I think she was unsure of the how deep it was and if she'd fall in it.  Makenna also wasn't real impressed with the cold temperature and didn't last for long intervals outside like Denver.  She was happier to be inside with her Mommy who had a very good excuse to stay inside as her boots were still packed away and hadn't made it to the new house yet.  Denver on the other hand was loving every minute of it and so happy to finally be able to use the snow shovel he got for Christmas.

So excited to be shoveling!

Denver was such a good big brother and helped Makenna when she was scared stepping in the snow.

Watching her big brother.

Come on Kenna, lets go sledding!

Trying to pull Makenna in the sled (without a rope)

...that didn't work, let's try pushing.

Another nephew...Malachi Paul

January 17th my sister and her husband and their boys welcomed their 3rd boy, Malachi Paul into their family.  We feel so blessed that God has entrusted our family with another adorable lil man.  Baby Malachi arrived at 3:41pm weighing in at 7lbs 12oz and 20 3/4 inches long.  The kids and I (and my parents) were able to meet the little man shortly after his arrival and we all just adore him.  I had to fight for time to snuggle my youngest nephew as my kids wanted to hold him every second possible.

A happy family of 5

This lil girl could've held him all day.

Denver could hold Malachi all day too....he wanted him even when he wasn't paying attention to Malachi.
