I got a picture of the kids and us as a family in front of the tree too! Didn't think that would actually happen...nothing special, but something which in my book is better than nothing. We'll see how the day goes today (maybe you'll get a Christmas day blog yet too)....looking like we are snowed in. There are huge drifts throughout our neighborhood. There is a drift as tall as a car (or taller) in our neighbor's driveway and last night we saw someone walking down the street with a shovel...must have gotten stuck trying to get home. For now we're just enjoying a quiet, nice relaxful day at home playing with new toys!
Makenna: "You mean I get to open this present without Denver's help?!"
Denver got to open up "Mack" (he's from the movie "Cars" and he actually holds all of his cars) and Makenna got to open up her twin Cabbage Patch dolls (I've been waiting for the day I could buy my little girl a Cabbage Patch doll!....can't believe it took me this long)
Thanks to Denver's photography skills we have this picture!
We hope all of you are having a wonderful Christmas even though this weather may have put a damper on your plans....but maybe this weather will help slow down all the hussle and bussle so we have time to take in the true meaning of Christmas. Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

Merry Christmas to you too!!
Merry Christmas to you! Beautiful pictures! I didn't put up a tree because I was afraid that the kids wouldn't leave it alone. Does Denver leaves the tree alone?
I wondered if it was worth putting up a tree this year too....I also wondered if I dare wrap presents to put under the tree. Denver did quite well. So far....no ornaments have been broken and only a few presents have been opened...some have been patched...sorry Uncle Jeff yours is one of them! :)
